and CosAbout the Social Media Workshop: Creating a Comprehensive Digital Communication Strategy
Independent school admission, development, and communications professionals have many digital platforms available to tell their story. Websites, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, videos, and email newsletters are just some of the tools in the marketing toolkit. Although the individual platforms may be easy and free to set up weaving them together to create a comprehensive strategy is more difficult.
This workshop will go beyond the basics to address the following topics:
Does your website do the five most important things every school site should? Walk away with an audit strategy for your school!
Are you using social media to effectively build social capital?
Are you using the two kinds of video every school can create in house?
This workshop will be taught in an engaging, hands-on, workshop style in which participants not only learn from a subject area expert, but also share best practices with peers.
